  • Name: Daniel Corral

  • Subject: Mrs. Fahden

  • Message: As a teenager from age 15 to 18 I worked for Mrs. Fahden. I worked at her home and her apartment complex in Virginia Hills. I also helped her clean the water front park and walk the district with her handing out brochure before her first election. Mrs. Fahden was always kind and fair with me. I was truly blessed to have worked for her, what a great mentor.

  • Name: Robert Patrick

  • Subject: Nancy

  • Message: I used to swim in her pool when I was a kid and she taught me how to cook hamburgers with garlic brown sugar and soy sauce. I still make them and people are blown away by how good they are. Nancy helped me get a job with County that i worked at until retirement. Nancy was one of a kind, truly wonderful.

  • Name: Diana Patrick

  • Subject: Wonderful

  • Message: Loved your Nancy memento. There's a box of pic's from Nancy's organizing the waterfront park, attending a Pres. Carter round table and a group 0f us with Conresswoman Bella Abzug. The fishing boat was sold long ago and a lot of people think the one that was placed by the pier in the park came from the Cardinallis. Nancy got the East Bay Park District to buy deceased State Senator George Miller's boat from his widow Dorothy Miller (the mother of recently retired Congressman George Miller.) Am looking forward to more pages of your great project
